Our founders

Prior to co-founding van Pul & Thieltgen, Mischa was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles and an Executive  Director at Russell Reynolds Associates, adding up some 20 years in retained executive search.

As a member of the Technology and the Financial Services Practices, Mischa served a wide array of clients in Technology, Professional Services and Banks.  At Heidrick & Struggles, he was co-leading the Risk Management Practice at EMEA level, conducting numerous high-level mandates sourcing top talent from the leading financial centers in EMEA.

Mischa obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Maastricht.  He also took Master Classes at the RWTH Aachen, at IAG Louvain-La-Neuve and at Solvay Business School.

Catherine is a business coach specialized in Executive Onboarding. Before co-founding van Pul & Thieltgen, she spent 14 years at Unilever in Marketing and Communication Responsibilities. Catherine gained her first coaching and mentoring experience at Unilever in the early 2000s where she worked closely with a Unilever Board member (the group HR Director).

Catherine is a Civil Engineer from Université Catholique de Louvain-La-Neuve (Great Distinction).  She also has a Masters degree from Solvay Business School (Great Distinction) and is a certified coach from the International Coach Federation.
